Most coaches are paid in cash or by transfer, so you can simply mark a session paid. If you ever turn on card payments, they go straight to your own Stripe account — Rally never takes a cut.
Rally is new. It's built and working, but it hasn't been through years of coaches finding the rough edges — so it's free while that happens, and it will have some.
That means two things. Your feedback genuinely changes what gets built next, because there isn't a roadmap full of other people's requests. And you should keep your own record of anything you can't afford to lose, the same as with any new tool.

No. Rally works with you as the only user. Inviting clients is optional, one at a time, whenever you want.
You can export your timesheets to Excel at any time, and delete your whole account yourself from Settings — clients, sessions and all. See the privacy policy.
Probably not forever. If that changes you'll get at least 30 days' notice by email, and nothing is ever charged without you agreeing to a price first. There's no card on file to charge.
It's a website built for phones — add it to your home screen and it opens like an app. Nothing to install, and it works on a laptop too.
Add a client, put in a few sessions, and see whether the numbers at the end of the week look right. That's the whole test.
